Succor Creek State Natural Area

The towering rock structures of Succor Creek Canyon rise above prime riparian habitat and rock-hounding grounds.  Succor Creek provides opportunities for camping, picnicking, wildlife viewing, bird watching, and rock hounding.  Look for chukars or thundereggs.  To visit our Succor Creek Photo Gallery, click here.  For local vegetation see our local vegetation database.

Camping consists of 19 primitive sites. There's no potable water service and the park lies on rough unpaved road.  The park is located off Hwy 201, 30 miles south of Nyssa.
