Swim Safety:

1. Make sure that you have a parent with you when swimming.
2. Use the Buddy System.
3. Don't swim in irrigation ditches or canals, as they can be very dangerous.

Jet Ski Safety:

1. Watch out for people swimming.
2. Wear a life jacket that fits.
3. Make sure that you are in a safe location to be using a jet ski.

Boating Safety:

1. Wear a life jacket that fits you properly. (Not too big or too small.)
2. Make sure that you are in a safe location to be boating.

Back Country Safety

1. Let a responsible person know where you are going.
2. Always be prepared for the weather and location. It is good to make and take along a survival kit, as well as plenty of water.
3. Always hike and explore with a buddy.
4. If lost, stay calm. Panic can cause a person to wander, making rescue difficult or unsuccessful.
